My Favorite Makeup Products

Being an absolute makeup lover is fun but also can be a problem. I am sort of a makeup hoarder. I have way to much of it! So writing this specific blog post is a little difficult because it was so hard to just pick a few of my favorite makeup products. But I did it.

  1. Anastasia Glow Kit (Sun Dipped)

I have tried so many different types of highlighters. I have tried liquid and I have tried powder. But when I bought this product in the summer, I fell in love with it. I had heard nothing but great reviews for it, so I was very excited to try it out. There is 4 different types of glow kits in the collection. They each cost $40. I got mine at Sephora but I know they also sell them at Ulta and Macy’s .

As you can tell, my palette is definitely messy. Moonstone is my favorite in the Sun Dipped Glow Kit because it’s good for anywhere on your face. I use Moonstone on the top of my cheekbones all the way up to my temples. Also I use it on my nose and cupids bow. I also use Summer a lot. I use that color lightly on the top of my cheekbones to create an even more defined highlight. Moonstone and Summer are the shades I wear to school. I use Bronzed and Tourmaline for special occasions. For example, homecoming, my birthday  and Christmas. I use Bronzed on top of my bronzer and I use Tourmaline as a substitute for my blush on my cheekbones. I don’t like using tourmaline on top of my blush because it just begins to be to much. Overall this product is amazing for doing its job in highlighting. It’s a must have for your makeup collection.

2. Naked 3 Palette and Maybelline Blushed Nudes.

These 2 products are for sure my favorite eyeshadow palettes. They are both similar but very different. One major difference is the prices. The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is $54 dollars from most places. I got mine at Sephora. The Maybelline Blushed Nudes Palette is $10 from most places. I got mine at Target. The colors are similar in both palettes, but the quality is different.

I love the Naked 3 Palette because the colors are so pretty and pigmented. The reason why I don’t like the Maybelline palette as much, is because I feel like the colors fade faster when I’m wearing it. The Naked 3 Palette is long lasting. I did like the Maybelline Palette because of the price. I was really against getting the Naked 3 palette because of the price, but after trying it out I don’t regret getting it.

3. Kylie Lip Kit (Koko K)

When I opened this gift from my mom on my birthday I was so excited. I have wanted a Kylie Lip Kit for Months! I also got another Kylie Lip Kit from one of my friends in the shade “Maliboo” and I love that one a lot, but my favorite lip kit is the one my mom got me in the shade “Koko K”.

I love this shade because it is a very simple color that I can wear to school, and it wouldn’t be to dark or to much for me. “Koko K” is a pretty pink color and those are the colors  I like to wear on my lips. The lip kits cost $29 each plus shipping, and in my opinion it is totally worth it. The quality of the lip kits is so amazing. The lip liner is so smooth and just glides onto your lips, when other lip liners I have tried don’t go on smoothly. The liquid lipstick is amazing as well. It lasts all day!

4. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush (Dazzled)

I got this amazing blush for my birthday and I love it! I have never been able to find a blush I really like that lasts. This blush is long lasting and great! The blush costs $28 and my mom got it from Sephora.

The blush is a pretty pink color and it is not that dark which is good because I don’t like dark blushes. I start with applying a little bit of blush, just to make sure it’s not to bright and then I keep adding on the color. The main reason why I love this blush so much is because of the color lasting so long on my face. I still see the pink on my cheeks hours after I apply the blush.

5. Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

I have spent years trying to find a really good under eye concealer. I had tried stick concealers and liquid concealers and I just couldn’t find one that I liked. I had seen this Maybelline concealer but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to use it because it says “age rewind” on it. I’m only 16, I don’t need age rewind. Then I had heard from a few of my friends that they love the concealer and I saw youtubers using it, so I decided to try it out. I definitely don’t regret it! It does its job! It completely covers my under eye circles! The only thing I don’t like about it is that it can crease a little. Just make sure to blend it well into your skin. Other than that it is a good concealer for its price. This concealer is different prices at different places, but I got mine from Target for $8.

Here are some pictures of my other favorite makeup products:

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara: $8 (Target)

Benefit They’re Real Mascara: $24

Benefit Hoola Bronzer: $29
